  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood PLC is currently recruiting for a  Process Automation Dynamic Simulator (PA-DS) Coordinator to work within the Automation & Controls Division based in Woking, Surrey.

     

    PA-DS Coordinator Responsibility during Simulation Testing:-

    1. Manage data exchange between the engineering team and the simulation  team, including configuration readiness.
    2. Responsible for transfer of Application files between Engineering and Simulation Teams via the Document Control system.
    3. Coordinate and follow-up for Application Test Agenda to be prepared by Simulation team
    4. Assemble master documentation set required for Simulation FAT
    5. Review/comment simulation test checklist issued by simulation  team
    6. Coordinate MAC execution support (PCS/SIS/HMI/Scada) during ICSS configuration integration with Process model.
    7. Agree & Record logs observed during  PAS RIE configuration integration readiness test & Simulation Testing.
    8. Send out test notification to all test attendees such as Client, Vendor and EPC wherever applicable.
    9. Coordinate resolution of queries during simulation testing.
    10. Coordinate resolution of logs recorded, both integration readiness and simulation testing
    11. Manage/Update ICSS configuration logs status on SharePoint.
    12. Export PID tuning parameters form simulator system.
    13. Participate in the Daily look ahead meeting during test
    14. Organise simulation test wrap up meeting

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Skills / Qualifications

     

    PA-DS Coordinator Responsibility  - in General

    1. Monitoring Simulation Testing scope and manage changes in scope (raise project variations if required).
    2. Review Simulation Testing team documents
    3. Review MAC schedule and Simulation Testing team schedule to identify gaps, aligning requirement.
    4. Planning with client for MAC configuration Handover dates to the Simulation team
