Wood are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within our Environment & Infrastructure Europe business for a 12 month fixed term basis. The successful candidate can be based in any one of the following offices: Knutsford, Shrewsbury, or Reading.
This role would suit either a recent graduate or someone at the start of their career with an interest in working in the environmental sector as a consultant. Primarily supporting our waste and recycling collection and treatment work with local authorities both within the UK and overseas (including the Middle East), government clients (including WRAP) and industry, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the teams work. The main focus will be on researching, data gathering, analysing complex data sets and modelling waste strategies and services and waste/resource flows. The candidate will be confident communicating with project stakeholders including supporting client meetings.
The candidate will be required to manage discrete tasks, with the aim of supporting multiple projects from initial bidding through to completion.
Suitable candidates may be asked to work onsite either within the UK and overseas (including the Middle East).
