    Wood is currently recruiting for a Team Lead-Billing for Gurgaon location.


    Key aspects of the role include the supervision of assigned personnel working in the Billing team while understanding the full process requirements, perform checks and provide support to allow team members to fulfil requests accurately and in a timely manner. Regularly monitor and report progress of Billing team activities. Ensure team regularly updates systems with required information to allow accurate reporting, and escalate any critical issues and risks to Service Delivery Head.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring that team members have a clear understanding of their role and processes and providing guidance, direction and support
    • Establishing priorities, assigning workloads and reviewing the more difficult and complex aspects of the workload, escalating issues and highlighting risks where applicable
    • Responsible for performance management and development plans for the team, ensuring any gaps are addressed and development and succession planning is managed effectively
    • Promote safe working practices and demonstrate safety leadership at all times
    • Establish mechanisms to ensure enhancement in the overall productivity, volume and competence levels of the team through strategic interventions
    • Monitor/Control all aspects of Operations like Risk & Compliance, Information Security and Quality initiatives
    • Client Servicing
      • Ensuring continuous interaction with business for improved service levels
      • Taking escalations for resolving critical issues; ensuring CTQ Delivery & Business Continuity
      • Ensuring the accomplishment of set quality standards in Service Level Agreements
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations
    • Prepare quarterly audits, reports and schedules
    • Train and mentor team members
    • Resolve employee issues in a professional manner
    • Act as a role model and champion Woods vision, values and behaviours
    • Own transitions
    • Accountable for the successful delivery of all activities in the process as described in the work instruction, including but not limited to:
      • Performing client billing in integrated Oracle environment using the various Oracle functionality
      • Client Billing includes manhour, expenses, fixed charges and retention billing
      • Reconciliation of manhours, expenses and fixed charges in Oracle and Billed to client or Statement of Work
      • Performing activities like Invoicing, Billing, Proforma Invoicing, Letter Of Credit, Cash Against Documents, Credit Notes, Consolidated Sales Order, Manual Invoicing, Customer Master Data
      • Follow up with the Customer for the Overdue Invoices
      • Preparing various reports like invoice register, daily reports, unbilled report, ageing report etc
      • Creating Cash Forecast and Accrual Data every month
      • Clearing invoices against which payments have been received from customers
      • Creating Payment proposal for Vendors

    Skills / Qualifications

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ MBA
    • 6-10 years of  experience in AR with atleast 2 years in  Team Lead role
    • Experience of working in a shared service environment, ideally in a captive organization with international location support
