As well as training delivery, the Lead Trainer will be heavily involved in the development of new course materials and the update of existing courses. The Operations Manager is the first point of contact for all training and operational matters. You will report to the Operations Manager or delegate for all areas of your employment.
All trainers are competent instructors who can consistently and professionally deliver a wide variety of training in a number of defined topics.

- Support operations activities in the WQ1 field
- Support FOMS& EP&R Supervisor

Wood is currently recruiting for an Environment and Regulatory (E&R) Supervisor on a 4x4 rotational basis for the ExxonMobil project located in Iraq.
The contract is for 1 year, renewable annually based on business needs.
- Planning and coordination of E&R activities for the West Qurna 1 project. This will require close working relationship with project field groups and management.
- Leads the development and management of the project regulatory database
- Oversees the UXO work, including processes and procedures
- UXO and regulatory contract management
- Develops, trains, and implements environmental procedures as required to maintain a safe working environment
- Identifies and advises project management in environmental concerns and issues concerning compliance with applicable regulations
- Assists in performance of all recurring environmental and hazardous / waste inspections, inventories, verifications, and training programs

Human Factors design and safety case support to the High Active (HA) work stream (plus ad hoc support to other RAP streams as required).
RAP is currently in the Preliminary Design Phase. The HF resource will need to be fully embedded / integrated with the RAP Project, in particular the design / engineering, pre-ops and safety disciplines. The key HF activities planned for the Preliminary Design Phase include:
- Project planning / management, for example:
- Management of live HF scope and strategy document
- HF planning / scoping activities for subsequent project phases
- Logging, tracking and closing off HF issues, actions and requirements.
- HF design support, for example:
- Input to / justification of Allocation of Function decisions (particularly with respect to human physical and psychological capabilities)
- OPEX / LFE reviews
- Understanding the role of the operator – task analysis on key functions/tasks to inform design development, HF requirements capture and HF design advice
- Providing ergonomic design advice / review to aspects such as HMI, anthropometric assessment, glovebox design, maintenance tasks, access / egress, workspace layout, etc.

The PMR team within the Wood Nuclear business is looking for a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team supporting our key client EDF, and Nuclear Reactors at their UK plants, on our long term framework. The GSUK team has an annual turnover in excess of £40M, contributing to the wider Wood Nuclear target. The PMR team is split across multiple locations in the UK; from our home office in Knutsford, the client head office at Barnwood and at various plants around the UK. You will be part of a large client lead team at the Torness Power Station, supporting multiple projects within the station project portfolio. Project Engineers will support either Project Manager or Construction Manager in managing allocated work from assignment to close out covering all duties related to work delivery as requested by the Project Manager or Construction
Manager in order to ensure that the work is conducted in a safe, timely and effective manner to its conclusion. No direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The project engineer role may vary depending on the specific assignment undertaken but would typically involve the activities below:
- Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Project Manager with day to day activities required to deliver work in line with the project plan including safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
- Facilitate and chair project meetings and regular progress meetings as required by the Project Manager.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including Project Definition Document, Quality Plans and other documents as required.
- Ensure production of technical specifications and support the process of contractor selection and contract placement.

Leadership

Aspects monitored include: work practices, application of HU tools, application of industrial safety and radiological protection practices, compliance with environmental requirements
- Perform the duties of a Nominated Supervisor when required

The project engineer role may vary depending on the specific assignment undertaken but would typically involve the activities below:
- Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Project Manager with day to day activities required to deliver work in line with the project plan including safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
