Responsibilities as below:

- Develop a working familiarity with relevant codes and standards that affect integrity engineering for design and operational purposes
- Writing, checking and issuing of integrity management documents for the lifecycle operation of subsea and topside assets
- Perform fitness for purpose studies to ensure continuing integrity asset management of structures and pressure containing equipment
- Assess the results of survey, inspection, testing and monitoring activities and provide detailed fitness for service assessments

Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Operations Engineer for a 12 month Fixed Term Role with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
To provide operations engineering support to offshore operations and associated asset support functions for the relevant producing asset with the objectives to:
Achieve annual oil production, gas export, water injection and HSE targets in compliance with Company standards, business policies and goals.
Be the Collaboration Room focal point for emerging Operational issues, co-ordinating required support from relevant functions to implement solutions
Manage operational expenditure to ensure that planned activities remain within budget and within agreed timescales. Act as the main operations focal point for engineering, subsea and subsurface work programmes to ensure that the required operational input is provide and that all work activity is coordinated and executed in full alignment with asset operations strategies and integrated field plans. Involving the attendance at SEQ, SOM, SIL, HAZOP and HAZAN meetings/workshops as required and/or to facilitate the required operational input from other areas of the operations team onshore or offshore.
Maintain and report monthly onshore and offshore asset production efficiency and loss data in the respective Asset Choke Model and APRS ensuring that all production losses are categorised and that improvement plans/initiatives are in place to minimise recurring/future losses.
Liaise with asset Subsurface team to ensure asset Installed Production Capacity (IPC) is accurate and that all/any variations are fully justified and fed back into asset Annual Operations Plan (AOP)
Monitor production practice/procedures and where required work with offshore operations team to ensure actual production is optimised.
Manage relevant subcontracts in full accordance with the Company contractor management processes OPEX cost forecasting and invoice review and approvals where required.
Along with asset HSE Advisor, act as the main operations interface with BEIS and OGA in relation to the production and submission of annual asset performance data and annual emissions consents.
Act as the main operations interface with respect to Transportation Pipeline Agreements TPA’s involving the preparation, submission and management of TPA waivers and the production and submission of technical papers in relation to TPA waiver applications.
Conduct regular offshore visits in execution of routine duties/responsibilities to ensure full alignment between the onshore and offshore operations teams and to manage/monitor specific work programmes.
Liaise with other Company producing assets operations teams to identify synergies, share best practices and resources to the overall benefit of the Company.
Liaise with Well Integrity group with specific interest in maintenance of annuli, integrity of well SDV’s and intervention scopes.
Ensures that OPEX is controlled and within annual budget, particularly with respect to chemical consumption, equipment rental and external services costs.
Provide relevant and required input to subcontract tendering process where required and in full alignment with relevant Company processes.
